Shovel Cricket at its finest

created at Tullett's 16th birthday party by Brad Davison and Hamish, Liam Tullett's younger brother. It involves using a metal shovel as a cricket bat, a trolley for wickets and a kitty litter box for the crease at the bowler's end. The ball was a strange hybrid half cricket/half tennis ball. Alternately, a rake can be used instead of a shovel, but this can make the game needlessly difficult.

Record scoresEdit

The highest scorer ever was Tim Howe, who hit the ball over the back fence for a six and out. Second top was Alec with four and a half runs.

Best momentsEdit

The best moments were when:

  • The ball struck somebody square in the head. This was blamed on Hamish.
